Bishop v. General Motors Corp. 9/8/95

Bishop v. General Motors Corp., United States District Court of Oklahoma (9/8/95)

The law firm developed further evidence that GM's defective trucks had been involved in hundreds of incidents which the court ruled were substantially similar to the Bishop wreck. After all of its trial exhibits were stricken for willful disregard of the court's numerous orders requiring production of those exhibits, GM elected to settle the case along with three other cases, yet right after the settlement, GM continued to insist to the media that its trucks were totally safe. Amount of the settlement is confidential at defendant's request.
