Morris v. Kenneth S. Weiss, M.D. 4/6/01

Morris v. Kenneth S. Weiss, M.D., The Carle Clinic, et al ., Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit, Champaign County, Illinois (4/6/01)

Mr. Morris could not perform his job which required complicated assembly of construction materials. The case had been pending for three years when our firm was associated. In slightly over four months, the case was prepared for trial, the adverse experts deposed and plaintiff obtained a special trial setting. Three days before trial was to begin, the case settled for a substantial confidential amount as opposed to no offer of settlement in the fall of 2000. Local counsel advised us that the amount represented one of the most significant medical malpractice settlements in the history of Champaign County. The settlement is confidential at defendants' request.

At Butler, Wooten & Fryhofer, LLP, we have the resources and experience it takes to successfully pursue complex personal injury, wrongful death, and product liability litigation. Contact us today. We would be happy to discuss your case with you.
