Georgia truck driver pleads guilty to vehicular homicide

A sentence was given in Irwin County Superior Court to a commercial truck driver on six misdemeanor counts of vehicular homicide. The driver had entered guilty pleas to the misdemeanor charges in the Ocilla, Georgia, courtroom following charges that arose from an accident on Georgia Highway 32.

Driver expected to be charged in fatal Georgia car accident

A representative from the Cobb County Police Department said the reason a 45-year-old man cut off a turning car remained to be determined. Once the investigation is complete, charges against the driver are expected. The 71-year-old man driving the other car died of his injuries at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.
